Strange things
Okay, had the episode with the kitchen light being on one morning, knowing that it was off when I went to bed. So, as you know, I put it up to either Clay or I sleepwalking. Only thing I could conclude. Well, even concluding that I have been afraid to walk through the house in the dark. Yeah, I am a scaredy cat. I go to bed now with the light on over the stove. Been feeling OK as long as I do that. Silly I know. Get this now. This morning Gary comes in the bedroom and leans over my bed to kiss me goodbye before he leaves to pay the bills and wakes me, scaring the crap outta me. So the moment I was awakened this morning is kinda memorable, lol. I get up and nothing is out of the ordinary. Gary goes and does his thing. I have a smoke and then come to the computer in the living room. Gary comes home and has some breakfast for us. We eat. Gary has a smoke after eating and heads to bed. I sit here about an hour or two and decide to go lay back down. I go in the bedroom and see my bed. My bed is an automatic hospital bed. I notice that the head is raised. It wasn't raised when I got up this morning. I wake Gary and ask him if he raised it, knowing there would be no reason for him to. He said he didn't and went back to sleep. I went over to the bed and I noticed that the control was still under the bed where it has been for over a month. I have not needed to raise the bed and when the control fell I didn't retrieve it. I pulled the control out from under the bed and lowered the head. I went ahead and layed down but I really couldn't sleep. I got up not long after laying down. Now how do we explain this? I am afraid to go to bed tonight. I guess I can leave the light on over my bed but whatever happened today happened during the morning hours. Anyone got any reasonable explanations for me? My mind is running amok.

Later. God bless. Teressa.

Curiouser and curiouser. Nothing actually BAD is happening is it? So dont worry, and just monitor the situation.

    Take care sweetie.

Didn't Babs say she was storing some of her roach army in Arkansas? They're probably there, protecting you, and just thought they were helping out by raising the head. I'm sure that's all it is.

The roaches swear they didn't do it!
That is odd. Maybe the bed has a mind of it's own???

I have ideas, but don't want to scare you more, but actually you shouldn't be scared. Maybe it's that a relative that's passed on, or a friend is trying to communicate. I've heard they do via electricity which would be the situation with both instances, right? I'd try not to look at it from a fearful view though. I don't know how you should look at it to be honest.

You got a cat? Our cat likes to lie on the phone which pushes the button on the answering machine. So we hear voices in the middle of the night. Any pet might have done it.

I prefer having the stove light on so I don't kill myself tripping over the dog in the middle of the night. Common sense to make sure you can see whats in front of you. It's another story as you are walking back towards the dark bedroom after you've become accustomed to the light.

Thats when I trip over the dog.

There has to be a logical reason for all this. You didn't mention if you had asked Clay if he knew about it. Did you lose your lights for a second with all the storms you had? You know how the clocks on the cable box, answering machines etc. act up and you have to reset them? Maybe it somehow caused your bed to rise? Thats all my logical stuff. I am not gonna scare you and talk about ghosts and such. Keep the lights on and the TV. I could never sleep in a house by myself (you had your family at home) without all the lights on and the TV running. Plus I check under all the beds and closets and everywhere a person might hide if I have to come into the house alone. Yeah, I scare the hell out of my own self. I have a nightlight in the kitchen too. The bathroom is just off the kitchen. We have a streetlight that shines in the living room and the outside light outside the door. I know I'm a wuss....seriously, there is an explanation. There always is...hugz, Linda
