New Computer!
Well, we got our income tax done yesterday and I bought the new computer. It is sitting in a box in the kitchen along with the new printer. I don't know how this new living room arrangement is going to work out. We are eliminating one of our 3 chairs. That will leave us with my computer chair, Clay's computer chair and Gary's recliner. Oh, we do have an office chair and a kitchen table chair, so we could have 2 guests, lol. There is a lot of work to be done before I can get the two computers set up. First is the rearranging, a large feat in and of itself. Then there will be purchasing and putting together a new computer desk and office chair. It is a good thing I can still sit and put those things together. I don't know how we would ever get that accomplished if I wasn't because Gary and Clay have no clue how to even begin. I am feeling a bit of excitement about the new computer this morning but I curb that because of not knowing when I will be able to use it. Yesterday there was no interest. I think next year I am going to finally get a wedding ring. It will be about time. We will be married 15 years this year, lol. It just hasn't been priority. Clay is thinking of getting satellite radio with his money. I have a feeling that you will have to buy a 6 month or 12 month subscription to services and he won't have enough for that. I am buying a years service on his cell phone and told him that he would have to get the satellite on his own if he wanted it. I am going to try to stick to that. It hurts not to give into him but he has to learn that he can't have everything he wants. He is going to have to start earning some things. Donna already doesn't like the idea that he gets his allowance without working for it. She doesn't count what cooking he does as a chore. I kind of understand because most of the time it is just popping something in the microwave for dinner. We did buy him a Betty Crocker cook book 2 weeks ago and I am going to let him pick from it some recipes for a meal and buy the stuff for it and he can cook it. He evidently told Donna that the reason he don't do anymore cooking than he can't cook what he wants and if he could we didn't have the ingredients. So I am going to get the ingredients and see what happens. I think the Depakote is starting to work again. I just have a feeling that when I get use to this new dose I will be back at where I was again. They can only increase it so much. The only thing bothering me right now is the sleeping. My sleep habits are so out of whack. I am getting lots of sleep, about 4 hours at a time, although last night I got 5 hours. Slept from 9:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. and for a change I haven't been back to sleep since. I am usually napping by this time. Maybe the Mountain Dew has something to do with that, lol. Gary brought me that instead of my Coke. Well I shall bid adieu for now.

Later. God bless. Teressa.

I am so happy that your new PC is in your house at last. I know when I get something new it makes me feel much better for a while, more hopeful for the future (that doesn't last too long, lol) No you give Clay what you can when you have it. This is a celebration. Tax money only comes down the pile once a year...hugz,Linda

Yeah computer! It's hard with kids. I watch some of my nieces and nephews get everything they want and some don't.
You and me girl on the sleep thing. It's a mess...I'm actually hoping to go to sleep before midnight tonight so maybe I can do a couple of errands during the day tomorrow.

yessss! you got it. funny i understand that tempering excitement...when this new computer was in the works for me i tried not to think about it too much. usually if i 'show' my excitement for something it gets f*cked up.

hmmm i'm still learning on the 'loving' xp program.

i agree with mads on your calming effect. funny what we 'get' from anothers life and words. i like it :)
