A title
My mom is doing the same. My sister is getting better. They did tell my mom that she can't have the ultra sound on her gall bladder until the shingles are gone. So my mom will deal with double pain but they are treating the pain well. They gave her a shot of demerol the other day. My mom had never had one before I guess because she said she would be OK to drive home and my sister tried to tell her no. My mom made it across the road to Subway and that was it. Momma says she is going to go back for another shot because she really liked it, hehehehe. She's a nut. She don't talk much on the phone, she is wore out dealing with the pain. I sure hope this bought of shingles don't hang on too long. I know there have been cases that they have not been able to get rid of and with her having a rare form I am concerned about it. At least she has my sister there, sick or not.

I have not been up to much of anything as usual. I went to bed after being sick last night after 3 a.m. and got up at 1:30 p.m., got way too much sleep, so tonight will be messed up too. I have to be up Friday at 9:30 for an appointment with SSI, I hope that I will be able to get to bed at a decent hour tomorrow night. I am so glad that I don't have to go through all the things I do with SSI with SSA. One is enough. It makes me a nervous wreck dealing with them. I always have over-payments and underpayments and it is a mess. I always end up owing them money. It is better than them doing it month by month though. I found that out. It is a necessary evil. Clay is doing fine. He has been bringing home homework now, they must be really working them. He has only brought homework home like twice this year until now.

We find out tomorrow about the fate of our family. Whether Gary is leaving or not. I will explain this. I have to keep Medicade in order to afford my medical necessities. I have Medicare but it doesn't cover everything and I can afford nothing. Well Gary's wages determine whether I qualify for SSI which is how I get my Medicade. Gary's wages are about to exceed the maximum allowed wages. Thus forcing us to separate in order for me to keep medical insurance. I know, it is a mess. It isn't the money, however $41 of it does go to help pay our rent, I only get $82 a month, it is the medical. Now to get personal you will see why this is what we are doing or contemplating. Gary brings home $566 every two weeks and my SSA is $284 a month. That is $1416 a month. Two of my medicines are over $300 a month and the rest are like $80, $100, $80, $40, and $120 if I take them all. That is rounding the numbers. That is $1020 a month there abouts. Now that would not include my cost on my doctor's visits nor my therapist visits once a week. That doesn't leave much for living. So, I hope that explained why Gary is facing moving out.

Later. God bless. Teressa.

i am laughing at yer mom liking it.

okay thanks teressa...i was confused...maan that's just so frigging wrong...families have to split up just so as to afford medical costs...so there is still a chance that he won't have to move out...why is that?

I had a shot of demerol after I had my C-section years ago and I know that is a real good high but they wouldn't give me anymore once I got off the IV....anyway I guess you have to do what you have to do. You know, I've known people in this perdicament I'm sure if he can show a new address, they can't really ban him from your home, can they? Do they check to see if he is still there? Have him make his change of address, where ever he is staying, put some clothes etc. in there, and have him "visit". The things people have to go thru just to get the pills they need, its pitiful, you'd get better in you had crossed the southern border down there, and you know what I mean....
